The East Midlands ERDF Competitiveness Programme is overseen and strategically guided by a Programme Monitoring Committee (PMC) composed of key regional stakeholders. The PMC oversees the effectiveness and quality of Programme implementation. It is chaired by the Government Office for the East Midlands (GOEM) and comprises members drawn from the public, private and the voluntary sector. It makes key decisions, approves significant documents and monitors overall progress of the Programme. In advance of the formal adoption of the OP, the PMC met in ‘shadow’ form.
Two PMC Sub-Groups, one for each of the Programme’s Priority Axes, have been established and meet regularly to discuss the Programme’s Investment Framework and to identify and develop potential Programmes of Activity.
In addition, the PMC will be supported by a Performance Management Group (PMG) to be established in due course, that is likely to meet every two to three months to deal with the day to day business of the programme (as delegated and agreed by the PMC), and provide regular reports and support to the PMC.
The membership details and terms of reference for the PMC and Priority Axis Sub-Groups are available to download from this page. Previous meeting papers of the PMC are available under the ‘East Midlands ERDF - PMC Papers’ page.
