The Programme's 2010 Interim Assessment Report is now available to download. The aim of this exercise was to assess whether the focus of the Programme continued to be relevant; whether the delivery arrangements in place (relating to governance and sub-regional) were still the most appropriate; and if there were any emerging lessons to learn/areas of best practice to consider for future delivery.

The 2007 - 2013 East Midlands ERDF Competitiveness Operational Programme (OP), sets out the region’s strategy and priorities for delivering ERDF funds for the period from 2007 to 2013. The OP has been approved by the European Commission.
The East Midlands 2007-13 ERDF Competitiveness Programme was officially launched on 12 March 2008 at an event attended by over 200 public and private sector delegates from across the region. The presentations given at the event are now available to download.
It is an EC regulatory requirement that an Annual Implementation Report (AIR) be produced to provide a clear overview of the implementation of the Operational Programme. The 2007 - 2009 AIRs have been endorsed by the European Commission and are available to view below.
It is an EU regulatory requirement that each ERDF programme has a Publicity and Communications Strategy. This document sets out the proposed publicity and communications activity for the 2007-13 ERDF Competitiveness Programme in the East Midlands, and has been approved by the Programme Monitoring Committee.
Technical Assistance accounts for 4% of the programme’s financial allocation. This strategy outlines how this funding will be spent and managed throughout the lifetime of the programme. The strategy has been approved by the PMC.

Click HereThe process of preparing the Operational Programme began in mid 2006 when an informal consultation took place. A draft version was published for a formal twelve week consultation in December 2006 and a revised version was submitted to the European Commission for negotiation in May 2007. Some amendments were made to the document following the negotiations and the final draft was submitted to the Commission in November 2007.
